This blog was created to reflect on my ETC 447 college course. These posts contain reflective writings and presentations regarding technology's effectiveness within the classroom and within the world of teaching. This blog will benefit me because it will act as a journal of understanding and growth throughout the semester. It will act as a resource throughout this course and my student teaching.

Ashley! Thank you so much for sharing this resource with us! I appreciated how you talked about the pros and cons of this particular tool. It is great to know what I will be going into before I actually jump in myself. :) This was very effectively designed.
ReplyDeleteAshley, what an informative presentation. I have seen similar websites that use games and other various activities to help with teaching. I have always enjoyed the concept of students feeling like they are playing a game when in reality they are actually learning. I completely did not think about students being able to click on ads. ReplyDeleteHi Ashley,
ReplyDeleteI love this website! I actually used this website over the summer, when I was tutoring an 8 year old in math. We used this site as a "brain break" in between teaching content. Although, she was still playing math games, she was building her skills at the same time. I am going to have to check this website out again and look into the other subject activities and games they offer. Thanks for sharing!
